Magnetic Sheet - SELF ADHESIVE Self-adhesive flexible magnetic sheets provide a quick and simple way of magnetizing your wargames units without the necessity of drilling bases and gluing magnets. Square rectangular round and oval most common shapes are available in a variety of sizes but also as complete sheets to be cut to convenience with a pair of scissors or a craft knife. Use them alone together with our rubber steel sheets or together with our Neodymium Magnets depending on the attraction strength needed. Using magnetically-based figures allows you to field large units on the tabletop on their movement trays as one item. This removes the time spent moving figures one-by-one across the table. Even if the trays are knocked or tipped you have a good chance of your figures staying attached and undamaged. Applying is very easy. Simply take the protective paper off the underside of the magnetic foil and stick it to the bottom of the bases. The thickness of the stickers is 09mm. Most current GW heavy infantry: Space Marine Intercessors Plague Marines Rubric Marines many Stormcast Eternals and most recent unit releases. GW has migrated many units from 25 mm to 32 mm in recent years. Can I combine these with 25 mm magnets in the same carrying case? Yes absolutely. Both sizes stick to the same rubber steel or metallic sheets. You can mix different base sizes in the same tray or case without any issues. Are they strong enough to keep the minis from falling if I tilt the tray? For plastic infantry yes. According to the manufacturers strength table the combination of a magnetic sheet + rubber steel sheet provides a Medium hold for plastic. For metal miniatures the hold is Weak and neodymium is highly recommended. Can they be peeled off and reused? They can be removed but the adhesive will lose its strength. They are designed for a one-time application. Is the adhesive enough on its own to hold the miniature? Yes especially with flat-bottomed wooden or MDF bases. They also work with hollow-bottomed plastic bases but in those cases we recommend adding a small drop of cyanoacrylate (super glue) to improve the bond. Since hollow bases have less contact surface that extra drop ensures the magnet remains securely attached over time.
